Library Hosts Cambridge WI Author Jessie Stevens

The Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library was pleased to host Cambridge, Wisconsin author Jessie Stevens. During her visit, Iron River residents were also able to meet the illustrator, Madhawi Karaya, all the way in from the Netherlands, courtesy of technology.

Ms Karaya shared that the Netherlands were experiencing 56 degree weather, compared to the 26 degrees and snow we were experiencing locally. Thank you to Jessie who was able to be here in person, and Madhawi for telecommuting across the globe! And thanks to all patrons who were able to attend.

Jessie's book "What if Butterflies Loved Snow" is available at the Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library for check out by all community members.
