2 Lives in Pittsburgh
Bernie Evers in a tradional blue-collar guy who doesn’t take it well when he finds out that his boy, Matty, is dressing up in girl’s clothes. His troubles deepen when the news that his whisky-drinking mother, Carla, doesn’t have much time. As Matty reveals that he would rather be Maddie, Bernie and Carla must confront the difference between who they’ve always been, who they are, and who they want to be. They lean on friends and neighbors for help; some call them out on their bull, while others are full of it themselves. In the end, Bernie is forced to question if it’s his child who needs to change or if it’s him.
